Sign-Up and Login

Can I use a password to sign in?

No, Trycolors doesn't support a classic login-password system. Instead, we use a one-time password (OTP) system to provide users with a secure and easy-to-use login process.

OTPs are temporary passwords that are generated for a single use and expire after a short period of time. This makes them much more secure than traditional passwords and reduces the risk of password theft. Additionally, OTPs are easy to use and eliminate the need for users to remember and manage passwords.

How do I create an account?

To create a Trycolors account:

  1. Visit trycolors.com (opens in a new tab) and click on the "Sign Up".
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. You'll receive a one-time password (OTP) via email.
  4. Enter the OTP to complete your registration.

What should I do if I don't receive the OTP email?

If you don't receive the OTP email:

  1. Check your spam or junk folder.
  2. Ensure you entered your email address correctly.
  3. Try requesting a new OTP after a few minutes.

If you still don't receive the email, please contact our support team.

Account Management

How can I change my account information?

To update your account information:

  1. Log in to your Trycolors account.
  2. Go to your Account Settings (opens in a new tab).
  3. Here, you can update your name and manage other account details.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, you can delete your Trycolors account. To do so:

  1. Go to your Account Settings (opens in a new tab).
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  3. Click on the "Delete Account" button.
  4. Follow the prompts to confirm the deletion.

Account deletion is irreversible. All your data, including saved palettes and challenge progress, will be permanently removed.

Subscriptions and Billing

Can I change from a monthly to an annual subscription?

Changing from a monthly to an annual subscription is not currently possible directly from your account page. However, we can assist you with this change. Please contact our support team through our contact page (opens in a new tab), and we'll help you make the switch.

Is it safe to provide my card details?

We prioritize the security of your financial information. Trycolors does not store any of your card details. Instead, we use Paddle.com, a leading platform for secure payments, to process all transactions. Paddle is PCI DSS compliant and uses industry-standard encryption to protect your payment information.

How can I cancel my subscription?

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Log in to your Trycolors account.
  2. Go to your Account Settings (opens in a new tab).
  3. In the "Plan" section, click on "Cancel Subscription".
  4. Follow the prompts to confirm the cancellation.

After cancellation, you'll retain access to your current plan's features until the end of your billing cycle.

What happens to my account if I cancel my subscription?

When you cancel your subscription:

  1. You'll continue to have access to your current plan's features until the end of your billing cycle.
  2. After your billing cycle ends, your account will revert to the free Hobby plan.
  3. You'll retain access to all your saved work, but some features may become unavailable.
