Trycolors offers various subscription plans to cater to different user needs, from hobbyists to professional designers and businesses. This page outlines the available plans, their features, and how to upgrade your account.
Try Without Registration
You can explore basic Trycolors functionality without registering:
- Access to basic color mixing features
- Limited to essential functions
- No ability to save work or access advanced features
This allows you to get a feel for the platform before committing to a plan.
Available Plans
Trycolors currently offers three subscription tiers:
- Hobby: Free forever, registration required.
- PRO: $3/month (billed annually) or $12/month (billed monthly).
- Business: Contact us for pricing.

How to Upgrade Your Plan
The upgrade process differs depending on whether you're upgrading to the PRO or Business plan.
Upgrading to PRO
Navigate to Account Settings
Go to your Account Settings (opens in a new tab) page.
Locate the Plan Section
Find the "Plan" section at the top of the page.
Click Upgrade
Click the "Upgrade" button next to your current plan.
Select PRO Plan
Choose the PRO plan option.
Complete Payment
Follow the prompts to enter your payment information and complete the upgrade process. This process is fully automated.
The "Upgrade" button in your account settings only works for upgrading to the individual PRO plan. It does not include Business features.
Upgrading to Business
Contact Us
Reach out to our sales team through the contact form on our website or via email.
Provide Business Information
We'll ask for some information about your business and your specific needs.
Receive Payment Link
Once we've discussed your requirements, we'll send you a payment link.
Complete Payment
Follow the link to our checkout page and complete the payment process.
Automatic Upgrade
Once payment is confirmed, your account will be automatically upgraded to the Business plan.
Business plan upgrades are handled on a case-by-case basis to ensure we meet your specific needs.
Payment Processing
Trycolors uses Paddle Inc. as our payment processing partner. When you make a payment:
- Invoices and receipts will be issued by Paddle Inc.
- The legal name FRIDERS E.E. (our company) will be mentioned on these documents.
Cancelling Your Subscription
To cancel your PRO subscription:
Go to Account Settings
Navigate to your Account Settings (opens in a new tab) page.
Find the Plan Section
Locate the "Plan" section at the top of the page.
Cancel Subscription
Click the "Cancel Subscription" button.
Confirm Your Action
Follow the prompts to confirm your cancellation.
When cancelling a subscription, you'll retain access to your current plan's features until the end of your billing cycle. After that, your account will revert to the Hobby plan.
Changing Your Subscription
Currently, there is no direct functionality to change your subscription within your account settings. If you want to:
- Change your subscription (e.g., from monthly to annual billing)
- Upgrade from PRO to Business plan
- Make any other changes to your subscription
